Off to the hospital we go.....SERIOUSLY!!

Well, not because we went into spontaneous labor........hopefully you have figured this out-faithful but not to that extent. After the dr. appointment today, to include nonstress test and ultrasound, my precious dr. decided enough is enough-so here we go. So in 1 hour and 15 minutes-exactly- we will be leaving for the hospital to be induced, so finally we will meet our precious baby boy!Oh the feelings running through me at the moment, you await things for so long and then it happens, how do you deal with that. I'm so excited but about the pee my pants with nervousness, We're going to be responsible for a little life......wow scary, and when we return to this house we will no longer be husband and wife, well and Chloie but husband, wife, and child-our small little family. What a true blessing, we are so grateful. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Ultrasound suggest weight of 7 pds and 12 ounces-hows he coming out again?
Still a BOY!Good thing!

Any child of mine is sure to be brilliant....so hes waiting on his room to be finished right?

Right? He was just waiting on the completion of his room. So now that all the finishing touches are complete, he'll be REAL anxious to come out and meet his lovely parents who have done nothing but dwell on his ever existence for 1o months and 3 days...........well see, but the consensus is probably not. I have made him entirely too happy in there-gonna have to lay off the Ben and Jerrys for a couple of days and see what happens.

I thought I was patient, well not extremely patient but slightly, I mean as a nurse you have to have at least a morsel......maybe not so much. What is it they say?A WATCHED POT NEVER BOILS, huh I guess theres something to that. And to think elephants and whales carry their young for years-props to you sister. Okay, enough for today- I'm really getting my moneys worth.Enjoys the pics of Baby Westons nursery-much love and work went into it...A WORK OF LOVE (much like this pregnancy:) Artwork done with love by yours truly....and Granna and Pappy.

Chloie's new best friend resides in this glider-she can't keep her dirty mouth off of it .
What a masterpiece, that tugboat-Mommy and Daddy did well .

Looks a little bare...huh, we'll see.

Getting crafty.....

Well, I thought that this would be my last blog until Weston arrived but he still proves to be extra comfy in utero so decided I would post the things I ever so restlessly do awaiting his birth-aside from birthing ball exercises , hot bathes, and wondering around aimlessly. Also serves as great therapy, without the sitting fee of course. Okay , enough with the rambling.....

Joseph and I were slow to make any great plans for Valentines Day due to possibilities of having a new baby or delivering one (what were we thinking?) so we ended up having a nice lunch, browsing shoppes and boutiques (we heard walking did the trick-don't believe the hype), and stopping by a ceramic shoppe. Here we decided to make a gift to welcome our little boy -a perfect way to celebrate Valentines Day. Oh , how things change (as they will continue to I'm sure). So we picked out some ceramic pottery, choose our colors and painted Weston his own little Tugboat piggy bank. You paint it, they glaze and kiln it and vilola- a beautiful creation. Well...left alot to be desired but hey we are no artist. We had great fun, lots of laughing and enjoying each others company. We hope that it will be something special for our new addition and hopefully he will one day enjoy the story of us waiting him out and what we did to pass the time. His daddy says he may question our many talents one day and definately suggest we keep our jobs in the medical field because painting is def. not out skill:)

39 weeks and counting....and counting...

So its the first post before Baby Weston arrives...so I hope anyways, but hey what do I know I just am providing residence for the little fella and apparently putting my body through many, many renditions of labor-practice that is. I dont think pregnancy is supposed to go quite this way, but hey, who said I was normal? We've decided we may as well opt for a home birth becauce its going to take a slap from God to get me to the hospital at this point, I'm not going back to hear once more, "Ohh yea, your contracting every 3-5 minutes, its hurting like mad but your bodys making no change-go home, relax, and labor on sister." Its been 7 weeks of this stuff, really, are you serious? Not been a very good pregnant lady...lots of griping and moaning-so... so sorry honey(your the absolute best, really) and for all those many loved ones who without fail call everyday to see if maybe, just maybe today could be the day. So thankful for all the love and support, where would we be without it-lost, maybe in a institution somewhere :)And even more thankful for this beautiful blessing(in disguise) that The Lord has chosen to bless us with. We are forever grateful and are looking so forward to meeting and showering him with love. Feeling emotional now..........dang hormones.
